That would take too much effort on Hasbro's part. Cheaper to just have a copywriter paraphrase the existing filecard as they're cutting it down to the length for this profile than pay a creative to actually come up with something new. It always comes down to money...

You're giving them too much credit. At this point I'm pretty sure they are just AI. Heck. I'm still salty about them releasing Kir Kanos as Carnor Jax in the black series because nobody there has any frigging clue about the actual characters or lore.

Would have made more sense to say he collects the oddities he finds on the ocean floor. Something to the affect of, "the things people loose over the side of ships always make it to the bottom. Deep Six collect the most interesting."

It's straight from the whimsy of the original 80's filecards, so it suffers from the same 'the times have changed' issues that sometimes hits characters that were established more than four decades ago. That said, in a world of thrifters and secondhand goods (which, in itself is probably about half a decade out of date from that trend's peak), there's a lot of weird stuff people collect. My dad used to collect phone cards for a hot minute there and were only useful items for a few years back in the early 90's...

Really liking the Deep Six bio. Anyone find it weird he collects bottlecaps? It's an odd thing to collect in the age of plastic generic caps for soda, cans for beer and most bottled beer just being generic. I mean that's what Bert collects.

I can tell you first hand that a lot of people feel the same for us collecting action figures man... For that reason I don't judge what ever people wants to collect!???

I actually really like the Stealth Viper. I wish the Crimson Viper had looked like that. I'm not going to buy it, but it's probably my favorite not-classic-colors Viper.
