They don't like to tool up a brand new body head to toe to only use it once or twice, especially when it's something that had been in demand almost as long as female troopers (Valkyries). It'll happen.

Same. When Classified finally gets to Iron Grenadier troopers, I'll need at least six. Bizarre it's taken so long.

I was kinda holding out that maybe I could track this down and use Jinx as an alt universe psylocke but the purple pants shade is not like the render.. same with the eyeshadow. They went overboard imho might still look for it after reviews, but its not a priority

Shown below via AmazonUK is a look at the new G.I. Joe Classified Series Ninja Force Snake Eyes and Jinx 2-Pack from Hasbro. This pack is set to be available for pre-order on September 18th usually at 9am EDT at this years Target Fall Geek Out 2026.

Jinx I could cope with better if that purple was a different color - if that was black, it'd be a much cooler look overall, even with the weird face and mask. I get that the purple is more like what a 90's Ninja Force Jinx would have had (look at Super7's frankly ridiculously accurate take on Ninja Force with their new Cobra Commander, Destro and Quick Kick), but black would be waaay better. But even on top of that - why are the ties on her masked head in Snake Eye's blue rather than working with her own outfit colors? I do want that Snake Eyes for completeness sake, but it seems like they're getting everything close but just annoyingly off when it comes to Jinx.

Female Crimson Guard, while an army builder and not an individual character, started in the retro line and was quickly repurposed for Cadet Deming. We have yet to see this figure in the standard Classified crimson, but it's only a matter of time.

Female Seiges were clearly a prepaint for Cadet Demming, but I honestly don't see them redoing them in mainline Classified crimson, which is a shame since I don't have any of the Retro male Seiges to make that grouping look more uniform. Maybe as part of a two-pack with a CG Immortal or Crimson Guard Commander?

So...fun fact: The Iron Grenadiers from 2024 were conceived of as officers (hence the tie and coat and stuff), which was revealed in an interview Chris McLeod from Full Force did with packaging artist Scott Johnson.

That explains a lot and confirms the vibe that the figure gave off - thanks for sharing that info! Just means that when they do eventually release a 'regular' IG, I'm going to have to troop build them enough to justify having a couple of officers already?

Some Retro characters are not repaints. Like Duke, Cobra Commander, and Scarlett for example. The Jinx we almost certainly are getting can't really be a repaint because her costume is so different. But I'm not sure a character has started in the retro line yet.

I want them to do some classically styled Iron Grenadiers in the Retro line given that the mainline ones veered off the classic design and more toward the Joe Con style so much...

So...fun fact: The Iron Grenadiers from 2024 were conceived of as officers (hence the tie and coat and stuff), which was revealed in an interview Chris McLeod from Full Force did with packaging artist Scott Johnson. Iron Grenadier troopers are probably the most glaring omission in the line as far as army builders go, at the moment. Personally, I'd rather have them main line, than Retro Cardback. Reason for that is that the detailing on the mask and helmet is so good, I think it'd be a shame if Hasbro just painted the mask solid red and the helmet all black--a touch of silver here and there on that mask and gold on that helmet peak would really pop, like it does on the officer figure. Retro also tends to go with brighter colors than the mainline figures, so the red would probably be a bit brighter than the standard IG red, which would bug me a bit. All that said, I want this bastich, either way, and it bothers me that it's probably not going to happen before 2028. Main line has a better chance of a 2027 release, but after talking with BMac and Eric Siebenaler at San Diego Comic Con, I get the feeling that it'll be at least until 2028 before we see one in Classified regardless. I'd love to be wrong.

This ones not for me. I was out of Joe by the time Ninja Force was hitting so there's no connection for me. Glad those who wanted it have it. I did get the Zartan just to see if there was anything that pulled in me and while he looks interesting I'm not buying any more. I hope this pack is easy to get for those who want it though. Nothing like having to struggle to find the things you want.

Jinx's face turned out a bit rougher from render to actual figure. I'm not sure it is an upgrade on the original unmasked head. For that and other reasons (to many revisionist touches to her), I'm skipping this pack.

Yeah I can't tell if it's the angle, or just the way it is, but Jinx's face doesn't look great here, they went too drastic and heavy on the red eye shadow, and she got those brows shaped a bit too extreme, and probably shoulda thinned them out, she looks a bit...I dunno like she's doing the wrong activities for someone with that makeup, like she should be in a Rick Owens fashion show.

I never wanted this pack to begin with because I strictly don't double up on characters, but I still have a love for that outrageous Snake Eyes design, the blue is just so lovely and electric, but also one of those funny designs that if applied to a real world scenario would be absolutely stupid, like Ya the sneaky Snake Eyes running around with Neon belts, nobody is gonna notice that guy lurking. There is also something about this whole pack's overall look that is giving the whiffs of Fortnite to me... *waves it away*
