Yesterday we posted a story about the new Panosh Place Voltron 14-inch Robeast Dieklops Figure and now we have more info on what to expect for this limited edition figure. The figure is available for pre-order from Voltron.com with a suggested retail price of $60.00 and is limited to 500 pieces worldwide. Here is some info that was posted to our message boards!

This is a very early miniature prototype (3 3/4" scale) that was hand sculpted and painted. Unfortunately at the time the pre-order went up, we did not have finalized product images. We have since been working with our factory refining the final product. When ready, we plan to show final images, box art, etc.. and we are very excited!

Introducing Dieklops Robeast by Panosh Place – the ultimate addition to your Voltron collection! This formidable and intricately detailed figure brings to life Haggar’s menacing Robeast, Dieklops, standing at a towering 14-inches tall.
Crafted with precision and care, the Dieklop captures every detail from the iconic cartoon series, “Voltron: Defender of the Universe”. From its fearsome Cyclops eye to its powerful robotic limbs, this figure stands as a testament to the attention to detail that Panosh Place brings to its collectibles.
Dieklops measures 14″ tall and features multiple points of articulation, allowing poseability to display it in various dynamic and fighting stances. Whether you choose to recreate epic battles or showcase it as the centerpiece of your Voltron collection, this figure offers versatility and style that has never been done before.

Made from high-quality Vinyl, Dieklops is built to last, ensuring that it will stand the test of time as a cherished part of your collection. The visual design captures the vibrant and accurate colors of Dieklops as seen in the animated series.
Dieklops is packaged in a collector-friendly box capturing the artistic styles of the 1984 Panosh Place Voltron Toy Line. The Dieklops Robeast by Panosh Place is not just a figure – It pays homage to the rich history of Voltron with the collector in mind. Whether you’re a long-time fan or a newcomer to the Voltron universe, this figure is a must-have for any enthusiast!

@LordVengerI have attached an actual scale 3d printed unpainted picture. @RobertD@Lord_Scareglow@toynewman I have attached two paint sample pictures from the factory. They were just recently received.

I am also attaching original sketch work from John Fertig. Mr. Fertig designed the original robeasts and coffins while at Marvin Glass and Associates. He sketched Dieklops but it was not chosen at that time.

Thanks. This is much more appealing. Good luck.

So is Panosh Place back as a company and are we getting more Voltron stuff from them?

I would have rather seen an unpainted prototype of the actual scale figure to be honest.

Well I'm glad that someone from the team who made this figure came to address why it looks so dookie, Good to know it's not actually going to look this awful, and it's not a final product, but here take this from me, if you want people to buy something don't show them a not up to snuff prototype, wait until you have something clean and well executed to show people before you solicit pre-orders.

I know it's big, but this just looks... not very impressive for the price? Honestly pretty amateurish, as much as I hate to degrade people's efforts. Maybe it's the paint's fault.

Nope you are right, this looks pretty lackluster, bad paint hits, lopsided elements, this looks like a crappy clay prototype, not a good way to solicit a figure here, I'd hope that's not the final product, cause it looks like it was an art project.
