New from the Hiya Toys EXQUISITE BASIC Series — Godzilla (2014) Male & Female Muto Set arrives.
Godzilla (2014) tells the story of a mysterious incident at the Janjira Nuclear Power Plant in 1999 that resulted in the unfortunate deaths of Joe 's colleagues and his wife. Years later, Joe's son Ford travels to Japan to help his father, who has noticed anomalies and is determined to uncover the truth in the forbidden zone.
The all-new EXQUISITE BASIC Series Godzilla (2014) Male & Female MUTO Set is based on original film CG , bringing on-screen ancient Titans into collectible form. The Female MUTO stands approximately 15CM tall, the Male MUTO 11CM, with a wingspan of about 33CM. Both figures finished in deep gray to charcoal black tones, with newly added fluorescent paint applied to the eyes. While the Female MUTO’s abdomen also features fluorescent detailing that reacts under UV light, highlighting its unique biological structure as seen in the film.
For articulation, Male MUTO’s wings incorporate a built-in wires PVC structure, allowing natural bending and angle adjustment. The Female MUTO features articulated legs with wide outward and forward-backward movement. Jaw is articulated for wide opening with moveable tongue for adding display options. Multiple articulation points throughout both figures enable a wide range of battle-ready poses.
For accessories, the Male MUTO includes 2x interchangeable wing parts and a display stand for aerial poses. The set also comes with 1x missile, allowing you to recreate a key scene from the film and enhance overall display presence.

I hated the movie, especially how they always would cut away from fights between giant monsters (y'know, the reason anyone watched this) and for the bland protagonits - John Hurt got killed too early...
But loved the Mutos, poor couple did nothing wrong, they just wanted to settle down and have kids. And they would have also solved any nuclear proliferation problem too!
Anyhow, already bought the female Muto, wish they had released the male separately.
