For anyone who hasnt seen it, Brian Flynn was recently interviewed by We Want More Thundercats on YouTube, and clarified a few things.

Wizz-Ra was not ready at the same time as Redeye and King Lion-O, so he will be the fourth figure of the next wave. The wave after that will return to the three-figure format.

The previously released render for King Lion-O was inaccurate. The final figure will have the other Thundercats symbols on his belt, as seen in the new render below.

The V3 chest, while vastly more cartoon accurate is just small enough to make him look narrow shouldered and shorter than the other versions. For that reason I'm more interested in getting the LJN color variant than any of the new stuff.

Yeah this is the v3 lion-o body super 7 has used. Previously used for the light up eyes lion-o and both deluxe Lion-os.

Personally i prefer the v2 lion-o body which just got a release on bbts.

Thanks for clarifying. Yes these newer ones beat the original by a long shot.

I think v2 Lion-O released at the BigBadToyStore is different on the chest than the the original v2 man...

Differences are slight tho i think cause the v2 body is based on a scan of the v1 body. It seems a liitle more smoother while defining the musclature more. Hook mountain, mirror and ljn Lion-os also use that body. Im glad they finally used it again for a Lion-O in regular colors. I was worried they mightve retired it after introducing the v3 body.

Are they using different body molds? Like Lion O seems to be using something else than the MOTU standard.

I really want to get some details on how the eyes light. Like is that a feature in both heads?

I believe its like Lion-O and Mumm-ra where you take his head off and there is a battery and a switch that slides into the torso. I have both and they're awesome.
