Pre-Order Alert: Mondo Masters of the Universe 200x He-man Figure

Well, this is the thing with Mondo from the Iron Giant on down: you are going to pay and it is going to hurt. The only thing that seemed different about their 1/12th Motu stuff was the promise that it would be much less than their Ghostbuster line. Yeah, not really!

I have to say, this is a lesson learned. I already preordered the basic version of this He-Man from Mondo directly. I got charged $12 for tariff surcharge, plus $13.60 for shipping for a grand total of $120.60 (not including tax here) to my door. Now BBTS has it for 104.99 (tariff surcharge INCLUDED) + a shared Pile of Loot shipping for $4. Worst case scenario, that's 108.99 + tax to my door. Not to mention that $4 shipping would get split amongst whatever else I have coming at the time. Congrats to anyone who waiting for this and didn't jump straight to Mondo to order. But seriously, Mondo, I love you guys' products and service, but if you want to keep folks buying direct from you, this needs to stop. Overcharging those of us who support you directly (and right away) by paying an extra 10% is not how you keep your customers happy.

These are expensive, but not an unheard-of price in current market.

I plan (keyword is plan, lol) to only buy the original 8 back figures and keep it a small set. I just sold my MOTUC collection and I don't want to remake it. Maybe even just get He-man, Man-At-Arms, Teela, Skeletor, Beastman , and Merman. Maybe Man-E-Faces down the line.

This skull is great but I kinda wish they included an option for a toy variant headsculpt. Maybe with a Battle Armor version down the road?

But just look at all that bony detail. I like the proportions and styling better than the 1/6th line too.
