Toy Fair 2016: Hasbro Panel Presentation

This is a live blog report from the Hasbro presentation for their Star Wars, Transformers, Marvel and other products. We will be updating this blog regularly over the course of the next hour so refresh often. Once the presentation is over we will then be uploading images of product from the Hasbro showroom.

Darryl DePriest kicks things off with an introduction. Does his Cobra Commander impersonation.

Talks about HasbroPluse. Their fan website. They will be doing fan votes there this year.

Transformers - Ben and John from the Transformers team enter the stage.

Titan Vote winner Trypticon. Early design process (Breadboard) shown for Trypticon. Almost as tall as Metroplex.

Rescue Bots - Season 2 trailer debuted today.

Robots In Disguise Warriors Windblade, Scorponok, Power Surge Optimus.

Prime comes with a exclusive Mini-con Aerobolt.

IDW RID series returns in Fall 2016.

Platinum Generation Voyager Class Grimlock and RID Warrior Class Bumblebee

Transformers Prime Wars Trilogy. Transformers Earth Wars mobile game. Shows a trailer for the game.

Transformers Rollout Album.

Titan Returns Fall 2016-17. The largest Transformers returning. Showing some video. Shows alot of headmasters and how the head function works.

Show the Fortress Maximus toy in the video.

2016 sees Fortress Maximus, they say is the tallest but in the image they show he looks about the same height as Metroplex. Has lights and sounds. His eyes light up and speaks things like his name.

They say Fortress Max is 2ft tall. Has battlestation mode, Autobot City Mode and leader class figures will connect to the ramps. Has a little jail and pegs for the little headmaster figures.

Cerebros head comes off and his head comes off for Emissary/Spike.

Titan Masters heads are cross compatible.

Leader Class wave 2 see Soundwave with Titan Master Sounderblaster. Tape Deck and Battle Station Mode.

Deluxe Class Wave 1 - Hyperfire and Blurr. Scourge and Fracas,

Wave 2 - Chromedome in Wave with Stylor. Mindwipe with Vorath

Legends Wave 1 - Class Wheelie

Wave 2 Rumble turns into a tank and Laserbeak. They have 3 modes.

Platinum Spring 2016 Generations Armada of Cyclonus (Scourge Sweep and Cyclonus)

Transformers portion ends.

Marvel portion begins. Adam and Dwight.

Civil War and Dr Strange products coming and animation sees Avengers, Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy.

World of 6" Figures Ultimate Spider-Man Sinister 6 figures and Web City Showdown city.

Civil War - Titan Falcon, Cap Iron Man and War Machine.

Civil War Role-Play see new Nerf Blaster shield and Iron Man Guanlet as well as mask and helmet.

TRU gets a role-play Black Panther ser and Kohls gets a Cap mask and shield set.

Hero Mashers is going to a 2.3 Inch scale and the parts will work with the 6" figures.

Marvel Legends - Shipped more than 8,000,000 ML figures since they took over the line.

over 200 unique character expressions and over 25 BAF's.

Wave 2 3.75" Vision Gamora, Armored Spidey, Living Laser and Rage.

Wave 3 - Rogue, Hydro-Man, Morbius and Quasar

Marvel Comic 2-packs wave 2 Spider-Man/Scralet Spider Captain Marvel/Marvel Hyperion and Marvel Now Hyperion.

Civil War 3.75 Falcon and Cap on Motorcyle

Cap 6" Wave 2 Cap, Iron Man, Black Panther. Nuke, Nick Fury, Red Guardian

X-Men Legends - Rogue, Deadpool, Cable,

Wave 3 - Secret War Captain America with shield throwing effect. Civil War Scarlet Witch,

Spider-Man Wave 2 - Ultimate Spider-Man Peter Parker all-new boy body buck, Hobgoblin, Ultimate Spider-Man Miles Morales, Silk.

X-Men Legends - Deadpool, Rogue, Iceman, Havok, Kitty, Cable. Not announcing BAF.

Dr Strange - Iron Fist, Nico, BAF Dormammu (Redeco Comic-Con), Movie Dr Strange.

Walmart Exclusive 6" Winter Soldier and Falcon

Target 2-pack War Machine and Iron Man Mark 27 Disco Armor

Toys R' Us - 6" Kate Bishop Hawkeye Sam Wilson Cap, Marvel Now Vision, 3.75" Cap and Iron Man Agent 13 and Black Panther

Walgreen - 6" Namor, Jim Lee Punisher,

12" Marvel Legends, Iron Man, Captain America with 30+ Articulation and acessories such as different heads. Also Spider-Man

Marvel Legends Role-Play Cap shield and Iron Man Helmet. Show Cap's shield which looks good. Helmet has light up eyes and sounds.

12" figures will be going up for pre-order soon. The Role play items are available for pre-order now on Amazon.

Marvel portion ends.

Star Wars portion begins. Steve Evans Direct Design and Andy Ochiltree Sr Market Manager.

No Rogue One product today.

Galactic Heroes sees Force Awakens 2-packs and playsets. Rebels coming as well. Ghost and Phantom.

3.75" Rebels Sabine with removable helmet and Kanan in Stormtrooper disguise. Seventh Sister and a Darth Maul looking character.

Takondana Encounter 3.75 Multipack. Maz, Fin and Rey wih BB-8.

Black Series 6" Revan, Season 1 Sabine, New Hope Leia, Empire Strikes Back Snowtrooper, AT-AT Driver.

SDCC will see a Rogue One 6" figure exclusive in 2016.

Star Wars portion ends.

My Little Pony portion begins.

Guardian of Harmony will see Spike the Dragon toy.

Cartoon is going into season 6.

Shows a Pony with facial har and one they call cotton candy face.

MLP The Movie november 3, 2017. Emily Blunt has joined the cast.
