The new magazine issue of
Empire is hitting stands on July 12th and features exclusive images from the new 2018 Predator movie showing off the warrior's new fitted armour plating and a shiny new helmet.
Writer-director Shane Black told
Empire that the reasoning for the new armour was for the appearance of a new, upgraded super-Predator.
“The challenge became to make it frightening,” Shane Black commented.
"'Cause upon that hinged everything — whether you bought our heroes going up against him and felt a real threat for them. We had to invent a scenario in which the Predators were mysterious and scary again."
