by Jay Cochran
October 23, 2018
According to THR, NBA star LeBron James and his production company SpringHill Entertainment are in talks with Vertigo Entertainment to collaborate on a remake for the classic slasher film Friday The 13th.

This news comes on the heels of another famous horror icon Michael Myers making a successful return to the big screen with the latest Halloween movie as well as news that original Friday the 13th screenwriter Victor Miller has regained the rights to his screenplay for the film. The movie is still in very early stages and despite Miller's recent legal victory, there are other legal hurdles at play that could prevent the movie from happening.

Interesting, to say the least... But, I guess it was only a matter of time, seeing as Freddy and Michael have had their respective reboots, and re-reboots, to varying degrees of success. If itll ever actually manifest.
