#Arrow's final season bows today, so it feels appropriate to share this glimpse of its future. Many thanks to @DCComics @manulupac @DaveMcCaig & Brett Breeding for this stunning art. #TheFutureIsFemale@Kat_McNamara @MzKatieCassidy @JulianaHarkavy @SchwartzApprovd @ojbalderrama pic.twitter.com/i6H0WEZAEn

Yeah, not gonna lie, Katiewas my favorite part of Arrow in the beginning. Hopefully the new show treats her better.
I have to admit that so far I'm really enjoying Batwoman. Yes those trailers were terrible, but I'm liking the show itselfa lot so far. Arrow was so awful last season with the flash forwards of Ollie's kids I wanted to puke or stop watching the show, not sure in what order. I have a soft spot for Katie Cassidy from early on Arrow when it was great, so I'm at least willing to give this show a try and see how it goes.
I've watched this show live every week since the beginning of season 2. I'm all for female empowerment. Supergirl is very good. Legends of Tomorrow led by Sara is still great. Batwoman sucks. This is going to suck. Let the ship go down with Stephen Amell.
Technically, this would be an "Embedded Pilot." A "Backdoor Pilot" would be like a TV special or TV movie.
As for the show? Could be cool. Batwoman is surprisingly good, Supergirl has shown some improvement (but still has a looong way to go) and even the Flash seems to be coming around.
Cautiously optimistic.
I assume these are the characters that they have been building up since last season that are in the future. I dont have a problem with it if its good, but if they just rehash the same stuff with different actors I dont see the point.
I do hope Oliver ends up surviving the Crisis storyline and will be able to continue making guest appearances in various shows going forward. I do feel like the Arrow series has run its course but that Oliver Queen still has a use in the DCTV universe.
I watched the first episode of the final season of Arrow last night and enjoyed it overall. I like how while technically the Crisis crossover doesn't begin until December, both Arrow and Flash seem to be focusing on it as their main plot device right out the gate.
For the record I've watched the first two episodes of Batwoman and think its showing potential. At the very least I am liking the character better now than I did in last season's crossover appearance. I don't really see how the show goes forward for any long period of time without bringing Bruce Wayne and Batman into it in some way eventually similar to what we saw with Superman in the Supergirl series.
Seriously? Hard pass. This is actually sad. The show that started it all goes out like this...
Zero interest.
