August 6, 2020
Deadline is reporting that Lionsgate CEO John Feltheimer announced during today's earning call that Keanu Reeves will be returning to film John Wick 4 and 5 back-to-back next year.

Lionsgate CEO John Feltheimer said, “We’re also busy preparing scripts for the next two installments of our John Wick action franchise, with John Wick 4 slated to hit theatres Memorial Day weekend 2022. We hope to shoot both John Wick 4 & 5 back to back when Keanu becomes available early next year.”

The John Wick franchise has made big money for Lionsgate with the 3 movies making over $584.2M globally and the Starz John Wick TV series The Continental looking to premiere sometime following the fourth movie.

I still haven't seen the third movie but good for them. Let's hope they don't run the franchise into the ground.

I do love the John Wick films and certainly i wouldn't mind seeing any new sequels or spin-offs related to the movie, but i do worry that someday it'll lose it's touch at some point as well but only within time we'll see how it turns out.

if they can keep making these movies as fantastic as the first 3, then hell yes.. keep them coming, I just worry there is only so much John Wick can do in terms of killing thousands of people in various clever ways in 2 more 2+ hour movies.. I don't want them to wear the franchise into the dirt I mean do we really need a show as well?.. that's the thing that worries me over saturation can really kill something
