Billy Crudup In Talks To Join DC Movie 'The Flash'

Deadline has confirmed that The Morning Show Emmy winning actor Billy Crudup is in talks to join DC/Warner Bros’ The Flash. Crudup recently played Barry Allen's father in 2017’s Justice League.

The Flash feature is being directed by Andy Muschietti from a draft by Christina Hodson, which has the Flash heading back in time to stop the murder of his mom; an act which disrupts time significantly.

Crudup was attached to the project as Barry's father four years ago when Rick Famuyiwa was attached to direct. Crudup left the project in 2018 when John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein came aboard.

I'm not sure how big a role Henry Allen will have in the movie, but I'm glad Crudup's coming back.
