That trailer looked good, loved how Sub Zero was using his powers, gives me hope he might get a good treatment. I have never cared for Scorpion but I have liked Hiroyuki Sanada since Last Samurai so I might root for him.

One thing that stood out to me was that nothing really stood out, because this looks too dark in terms of visuals and coloring, I mean that because nothing really pops on the picture everything blends in the darkness, original 1995 movie at least had this thing right, you could clearly see the blue of Subzero and Yellow of Scorpion. Also violence and gore look much better and exciting withmore saturated and bright colors, like same Kill bill for example, I get that they want that edgy dark image but you need to visual element in it. But otherwise I doubtit will be anything great.

I was really excited about this, I'm still going to watch it with an open mind, but now that I see the trailer..this looks really WB'ish and has that "yeah we are trying to be cool and edgy" but we are really not, it's got that cheese factor I can tell, plus has a definite TV show feel, I don't think I like that dude who plays Jimmy Olsen on Supergirl, and I don't much care for him as Jax. I will watch and will hope I at least have fun in doing so.

This looks fun to say the least. I'm not expecting a great movie, but as long as it is fun in the same senseless fun that MK usually is, I'm game.

Trailer has some promise. Love seeing Goro and a fairly accurate looking Shao Kahn statue of all things. Also looks like some good action and gore which makes sense finally. We shall see how it goes.
