Do any of you even watch Animaniacs??? They literally just parody anything and everything. Mostly older stuff but the newer season did some current day parodying. This makes sense for them to do since they are wacky and just parody anything randomly. Id also suspect that they know their audience are 80s/90s people. Also how is parodying something a way of rejuvenating the property thats being parodied?

It's supposed to be a joke for Gen-Xers and older millennials. It's not a very good joke, but the joke relies on nostalgia.
Warner Media is really trying their best to rejuvenate old properties.
