“Nine seasons! Nine years of saving Central City while taking audiences on an emotional journey full of heart, humor, and spectacle,” Executive Producer and Showrunner Eric Wallace has said in a statement. “And now Barry Allen has reached the starting gate for his last race. So many amazing people have given their talents, time, and love to bring this wonderful show to life each week. So, as we get ready to honor the show’s incredible legacy with our exciting final chapter, I want to say thank you to our phenomenal cast, writers, producers, and crew over the years who helped make The Flash such an unforgettable experience for audiences around the world.“

Ugh.... No....
The TV show character and the movie character are too different.
It's like casting the late Adam West to play Batman again in a Zack Snyder Justice League movie
Looks like they're struggling to rid themselves of Miller and yet recoup some of the money they've already poured into the project. Maybe gambling that the movie will do so well, and that public memory will fade enough, that they make their profit goal? Who knows, but we've seen other guys get sacked faster, and for doing far less.
