Columbia Pictures has released a new teaser poster for the upcoming sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and it features a new Ghostbusters logo. The logo does have an icy, cold effect so it might take place in the winter in New York City.
The working title for the sequel is Ghostbusters: Firehouse and is co-written and executive producer Gil Kenan, with Afterlife director and co-writer Jason Reitman serving as writer and executive producer. The movie also stars Patton Oswalt, Kumail Nanjiani, James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind. They join returning cast members Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace. Ernie Hudson is returning from the original Ghostbuster movies and is said to have a large role to play in the sequel.
The film is scheduled for a theater release on December 20th, 2023.
