I will watch this, the first one was pretty fun, but I keep forgetting this is coming out, until I see things like this, it just seems so sad that this has no stakes, since they are wiping the slate after this and the DC Cinematic Universe as it was is dead, so this movie almost seems pointless, but I like watching movies, and like seeing good fun so hopefully this doesn't disappoint, but I'm ready to just cleanse my soul of this DC Universe and move on.

According to Variety, the highly anticipated sequel from DC Studios has been postponed from December 20th to December 22nd, 2023. This decision has resulted in Aquaman being further distanced from Wonka, allowing Warner Bros. to create a more significant gap between their two major holiday season releases.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, starring Jason Momoa as the eponymous DC hero, is set to be released exclusively in theaters later this year. With James Gunn and Peter Safran now serving as co-CEOs of DC Studios, this highly anticipated sequel is expected to mark the end of the Snyderverse era. While some actors will continue portraying their characters in the DC Universe, there is speculation among fans that this may be Momoa's final portrayal of Aquaman. This week, DC's official Instagram account provided a glimpse into the new Aquaman film through a comic tie-in, showcasing Momoa in his iconic role.

"Prepare for the theatrical release of AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM on December 20th with the comic book prequel to the upcoming film! The photo cover features Jason Momoa, and there will also be a variant cover by @belen_ortega and @arifprianto.arf, available on October 31st," DC announced. The post can be viewed below:
