Does an extended cut exist?

I believe both parts will have extended versions released later this year.

I wonder if there's more to Anthony Hopkins' robot in part one that maybe shown in the extended cut. Maybe a more in depth look when the robot was a soldier in the past or something. It almost feels as it may end up the same as BVS which was greatly improved, but still flawed, with the director's cut.

I was disappointed by part one as well. Felt like I was watching lord of the rings one minute then it would switch to Star Wars then something else. Also thought it was a complete waste to introduce Anthony Hopkins robot and then not use him any more for the rest of the movie. Ill be a little more skeptical about part two.

Preview looked pretty good action wise. I was really looking forward to this while thing and was underwhelmed when part one came out. Maybe when the director's cut comes out I'll enjoy it a little more.
