Travis Knight In Final Talks To Direct The New 'Masters Of The Universe' Movie

Sources have informed Deadline that Travis Knight is currently in the final stages of negotiations to direct the long-awaited Masters of the Universe reimagining from Mattel. Although his deal has not yet been finalized, all indications suggest that Knight is the leading candidate for the directorial role. Additionally, Chris Butler is set to rewrite the script, which was initially penned by David Callaham, Aaron Nee, and Adam Nee. Furthermore, Amazon MGM Studios is currently in final negotiations to secure the rights to the project, with Robbie Brenner from Mattel and Todd Black and Jason Blumenthal from Escape Artists set to produce.
