Warner Bros. Japan Announces 'Batman Ninja' Sequel In Production

Warner Bros. Japan recently revealed its plans to create a sequel to the 2018 Batman Ninja CG anime film Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League. The studio has announced that further details regarding this exciting project will be shared during the "Warner Bros. Japan presents Suicide Squad ISEKAI and Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League" panel at Anime Expo on July 4, 2024.

The upcoming film at studio Kamikaze Douga will be directed by Junpei Mizusaki, who previously directed the original Batman Ninja. Shinji Takagi will co-direct the film, while Kazuki Nakashima will handle the screenplay. Takashi Okazaki will be responsible for the character designs, and Yugo Kanno will compose the music. Additionally, Koichi Yamadera will reprise his role as the voice of the Caped Crusader for the Japanese release of the film.

Batman Ninja transported Batman to Japan's Warring States era where he faced off against adversaries like The Joker, who had transformed into feudal lords. This DC Animated Movie release was both a critical and financial triumph for Warner Bros. at the time of its debut.

This definitely looks interesting and I like the looks they gave the league.This could be very good

I enjoyed the first one. Trailer looks interesting. Though I think I'd have preferred sticking to the bat family. Have to see it.

The newly revealed voice cast for the upcoming film includes Koichi Yamadera portraying Batman/Bruce Wayne, Yuuki Kaji as Robin, Kengo Kawanishi in the role of Red Robin, Daisuke Ono as Nightwing, Akira Ishida as Red Hood, Hochu Otsuka as Alfred, and Masaki Terasoma as Commissioner Gordon.

Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League is co-directed by Jumpei Mizusaki and Shinji Takaji, and based on a screenplay by Kazuki Nakashima. The creative ensemble further comprises character designer Takashi Okazaki, while Kamikaze Douga is responsible for the animation production. Additionally, the film features a musical score composed by Yugo Kanno.

I dunno exactly who asked for this considering how many other DC projects have fan bases asking for some sort of continuation but for what it was it was kinda fun to watch.
