The fourth & final season premieres globally on Netflix on August 8, 2024
About THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY:
The Hargreeves siblings have scattered after the climactic showdown at the Hotel Oblivion led to a complete reset of their timeline. Stripped of their powers, each is left to fend for themselves and find a new normal - with wildly varying degrees of success. Yet the trappings of their uncanny new world prove too hard to ignore for very long. Their father Reginald, alive and well, has stepped out of the shadows and into the public eye, overseeing a powerful and nefarious business empire. A mysterious association known as The Keepers holds clandestine meetings believing the reality they're living in is a lie and a great reckoning is coming. As these strange new forces conspire around them, the Umbrella Academy must come together one last time - and risk upsetting the shaky peace they've all endured so much to secure - to finally set things right.

As a "superhero" series, there's not a character here that I could look up to and say "that's my hero". They are all twisted in a silly and weird way. But the show entertains me. I liked the Tiffany "I think we're alone now" scene. that was fun. And the "Destiny's Children" was funny. Few memorable stuff for me. So yes, I'm looking forward to the final season. ?
Looking forward to the end. Of course, pretty much nothing ever really gets concluded these days. They always seem to leave the door open just a crack, just in case.
Its better to end on a high note than follow the route of the Walking Dead or Game of Thrones, create original storylines outside the original source and drastically drop in quality until cancellation.
I was pretty non-plussed by the cliff hanger at the end of the first season. I've gotten used to them now but I am looking forward to the conclusion of the show. The show has been very entertaining and I really liked the third season. I am fine with them giving us a conclusion. I'm hoping Luther and Sloane get a happy ending.
