Ed Boon, the director, and co-creator of Mortal Kombat, has unveiled the initial photo from the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 2 film, showcasing a sneak peek of Kitana alongside one of her fans, portrayed by Adeline Rudolph, who is set to have a significant role in the movie's storyline.

I recently saw a (unfinished cut) screening of the Mortal Kombat 2 movie. During the screening I broke into @Todd_Garner's phone, found this image from the film, and send it to my phone.

I can leak stuff too 👍

I honestly loved the first one and Im really anticipating this sequel. I loved both MKs from the 90s as bad as they are, this one was definitely better. Even if I personally wouldve preferred Cole Young to have been Kuai Liang and not a new character

First issue was making a brand new character the star. That was completely unnecessary. The rest is it had some good fight scenes, but the story was just fluff. So nothing had any real weight to it.

I don't know. I enjoyed the last one. But it just felt off. Nothing had been able to match that blend of cheesy and awesome from the first one yet.
