I'm just glad Anna Faris is back and maybe we can get a few laughs. For me the franchise was peak when David Zucker was directing his first sequels.
I hate it when movies put all the funny parts in the trailer. I'm glad they didn't do this. It was a bold move not to put any funny jokes in the trailer.
BTW, I'm gonna get out ahead of this now. This trailer and this thread is not a license for members to rip into "wokeness," identity politics, and other things that haven't been okay to talk about on these forums, just because the movie's doing it. I hope everybody keeps that in mind.

But the first is fairly clever. It pains me to say this, but as I don't see Zucker's name attached (director of some of the funniest movies of all time... but also most of the Scary Movie sequels) it's possible this has a chance to be enjoyable.
The franchise is firmly back in Wayans control. This one was written by Marlon, Shawn, Keenen, and Rick Alvarez and was produced by Marlon, Shawn, Keenen, and Rick Alvarez, who was a producer on Scary Movie 2, White Chicks, Little Man, Dance Flick, and every comedy special Marlon's put out for the last decade or so.
