I come to Toy News International for action figure reveals, pre-orders, and collector reviews not generic trailer coverage I can see on IGN or YouTube five minutes after it drops.
There are hundreds of entertainment sites posting this exact same content. What made this site valuable was its focus on toys. Lately it feels like that focus is slipping.
Less Hollywood headlines. More figures, accessories, articulation breakdowns, and actual toy news.
Thats why were here.
You voiced your opinion on our entertainment news coverage in another thread and JayC responded. I suggest you read it.I'm going to make three other VERY strong suggestions:1. There's been entertainment news posted here since before I was a moderator, years before you ever joined. Don't continue complaining about it. It will be viewed as an attempt to derail the thread and be treated as such.2. If you don't like entertainment news being posted here you can ignore it or you can stop coming here. It's not going to stop.3. Do not increase your font size like that again.

Nope. Mileena was played by Sisi Stringer in the first movie. Kitana is played by Adeline Rudolph. It doesn't seem to be the done thing for the two to be played by the same actress in live action for whatever reason - Annihilation, Legacy...the only real exception is an episode of Mortal Kombat: Conquest where Shao Khan magically cast Kitana's reflection onto Mileena, so she could pretend to be her, but they were not played by the same actress prior to that. Mileena was neither Kitana's sister nor her clone in that show. Bad show.

I like that the trailer never once shows Cole (who?) because probably he gets killed off pretty soon in the tournament.
What I do not get is Shao Khan, how many of him are there? He seems to get killed like 3 times in the trailer... and he has Killer Croc arms???

Apparently, Cole Young is in it, but supposedly he gets killed off kinda early because he sucks.
Noob does look alright, Shao Kahn looks vaguely great, Jade is ruined, Baraka's rubber mask effects are terrible. In fact, the FX are generally looking subpar even to MK 11. Yeah, I'm not a hardcore fan, but rule number one about MK is at least making the characters look good and I'm not getting that for about half of the cast.
And I really wish Urban and Elba hadn't picked this up, but actors who don't make mega millions every other project gotta make a living somehow.

Scorpion and Noob Saibot look cool. Baraka looks terrible. Everyone else is kind of meh.
The visuals are good, but the writing seems as corny as Annihilation. At least from what the trailer shows, anyway.
