Man this movie is looking better and better with each new featurette. As a Transformers fan, I often wished for a live action revival that was THIS faithful to the original (though compared to Bayformers, even the GI Joe movies were more consistent with the original designs).
I only ever saw the movie in the 90ies, I always assumed it was then when it came out. It wasn't very good or memorable compared to the toon... And by that time New Adventures of He-Man was in TV all the time, so I associated it with that.

They finally got Transformers (Mostly) right with Bumblebee, then screwed it up with Rise of the Beasts having a good Prime and Arcee, but 07-looking Bee, Mirage that doesn't look like any character before him (with Jazz's vehicle mode) and... that Wheeljack. Plus the colorless Maximals that only transform in a massive battle scene so there's no good look at their robot modes.
As for MotU, it does look great. But I agree, we NEED Orko. I hope they don't have him appear in a flashback to be killed or something to seem 'edgy'. I'd rather he not appear than have that happen.
