Bloody First Footage of Evil Dead Burn Revealed at CinemaCon

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Evil Dead Burn, the newest entry in its classic New Line horror franchise. While details about the plot have been scarce until now, the trailer, shown during a CinemaCon panel in Las Vegas was filled with enough blood and chainsaws to make most fans happy.

Patton Oswalt, presenting for WB, emphasized that this was a very early look at the trailer, featuring "unfinished and rough shots.” Evil Dead Burn, directed by Sébastien Vaniček (Infested) is set to premiere on July 24. The cast features Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan, and Luciane Buchanan.

Evil Dead Burn should not be confused with Evil Dead Wrath, a different, upcoming Evil Dead film directed by Francis Galluppi and starring Charlotte Hope and Jessica McNamee.
