Long-Awaited Coyote vs. ACME Trailer Now Online

The official trailer for Coyote vs. ACME has been released, marking the long-awaited first look at the film once famously shelved by Warner Bros.. The live-action/animation hybrid follows Wile E. Coyote as he hires lawyer Kevin Avery (Will Forte) to sue the ACME Corporation for its defective products. The trial pits them against ACME's slick corporate counsel, Buddy Crane (John Cena).

The film will be released on August 28 by Ketchup Entertainment, which rescued the film after it was nearly scrapped for a tax write-off in 2023. The movie features various iconic Looney Tunes characters beyond Coyote and Road Runner, including Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Tweety, Porky Pig, and Foghorn Leghorn.

I thought like Batgirl, this was shelved forever because WB needed to recoup some money? I guess Paramount needs that money better now so it will be released anyway...

Seeing the trailer I can see why this was filed away in a room never to see the light of day again. A legal drama with live action humans where the main cartoon character never even talks, and the rest are not much but background dressing? Yeah, if the Space Jam sequel sunk, this will drop rock bottom.
