Two New Clayface Images Posted Online

It's looking pretty solid, if the plot is kind of a Darkman meets Antiviral stuff, then I'm totally on the hype train.

Given that historically, Matt Hagen was only the third or fourth Clayface in the comics, it could be done. They could have Boris Karlo be his actor mentor and then he betrays and disfigures him and now Matt is out for revenge? I dunno. It needs more than the body horror and the tragic backstory... it needs Batman, but barring him, someone else who is a threat to Clayface. I think when Supergirl bombs the new bosses at Warners will be looking very closely at Clayface. Im of two minds....Im inclined to see it as horror movie but I dont trust Gunn to give me a movie I ll enjoy and as has been said...no Batman, no interest.

If they go with the Batman TAS tragic origins of Matt Hagen, it could be good... Though that story has already been told and it'd be hard to top. That animation looks great even today.

And I have little faith in Gunn anymore.

I actually think this seems cool, if it turns out to be a weird twisted horror film or sorts, but I'm also like "why clayface now?" it seems like a strange thing to do a Clayface movie, a villain movie, that won't be a super hero movie so early on, and I see what's up, doing that whole..."yeah we aint following the rules" and doing something off the path, like that joaqum phoenix joker, but nobody other then diehard fans are going to see this, I dunno.
