Netflix Releases New Trailer For The Boroughs

The official trailer for The Boroughs, a new supernatural sci-fi series executive produced by The Duffer Brothers (creators of Stranger Things), was released online. The series was created and is run by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, who previously worked on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. The series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on May 21.

The story takes place in an idyllic, sun-drenched retirement community in the New Mexico desert called The Boroughs. A group of "misfit" retirees must band together to face a monstrous, otherworldly threat. stars as Sam Cooper, a grieving widower and new arrival who first discovers the creatures stalking the cul-de-sacs. The series features an ensemble of veteran actors, including Alfred Molina, Geena Davis, Alfre Woodard, Bill Pullman, Clarke Peters, Denis O’Hare, and Jena Malone.
