Masters of the Universe Movie "I Have The Power" Video Clip

Movie was absolutely great

I was really optimistic seeing so many 7/10 scores but while there were some great ideas, unfortunately many sequences fellt like AI slop fever dreams (not saying they were specifically AI but it had that disjointed "am I on drugs" feel) and some of the scenes felt like community theatre level of composition and line delivery. But, again, there WERE some truly good scenes but overall I felt it was 5/10 at most and that's mainly for the faithful adaptation of character design and a few very interesting scenes that unfortunately do not elevate the rest of the movie. If nothing else the toys from it have been incredible though! So I'm happy for that.

Fun and entertaining but definitely not perfect i gave it 7 out of 10

That's why this bugs me, because everything I've seen as of lately, make this feel like it's drawing far to much inspiration from the cartoon, which is for little kids, is campy, is goof-ball, and overall super lame.

I loved the cartoon as a child, yes, but as a grown up, I just think it's a horrid down-leveling of what is tecnically a scary and brutal world with vicious beasts, sword weilding barbarians, and a evil skull face guy.

Sorry I know I know, but like I just want to take it serious, MOTU is serious at it's core, the cartoon turned it into a dinky winky fest to appaise kids and parents, it should be Conan-esque, I know it's not in the media...but why not try, kids arn't going to see this, we grown ups are, is it too much to ask for a bad ass true to box art amazingness...

I just am tired of the camp, I don't want to laugh at Skeletor calling people a bumbling fool while he falls into a pit and yells something dumb, and then he-man says...look kids you should always look both ways before you cross the road...

I know I'll catch flack, but Like no I don't watch the Cartoon, it's cringe, nostalgic food alone, but it's a wiffy joke.

Not one for games, but the Skeletor one looks fun.
