IMHO, I think this show got a bum rap due to the culture war crap. While I dont like the changes they made, either (which is most likely why WB passed on this series), I feel the show is of such high quality that it doesnt matter. Its a sequel to BTAS that leans even heavier into what they were trying to do 35 years ago. I only wish Mcfarlane had added a new line to the BTAS reissues and given us these versions. I cant believe someone hasnt even attempted it.

I didn't, I often looked it up to see any announcements made. I was really hoping we get a S2. There are again some interesting choices in characters, a Riddler who is far more violent (and robbing banks himself), Roxy Rocket dressed like the Rocketeer, what seems to be a female version of the Mad Hatter with "Hattie", an oddly smartly dressed Firefly, and of course whom we saw teased at the end of the first season, the Joker and the grisly effects of his laughing gas.
I really do not understand how in 1992, we could get like 40-50 episodes of a well animated Batman show per year, but now a mere 10 episodes take 2 years to make? And not jut this show, X-Men '97 too and many others. Kids today have super short attention spans, they would forget in less than 2 years what the plot was...
Gonna be honest, I completely forgot this show existed.

You're absolutely right .. I just don't understand why they couldn't keep the characters as they were 30 years ago or at least the important ones .. I thought it was going to be like what marvel did with X men 97 ..which has it's flaws .. but still could capture the vibes of the old one .. I really had some high hopes for it .. but it didn't

Batman has some super-human strength there the way he just flung that morbidly obese man like that. This crap happened all the time in BTAS, but it always stinks when it happens. Other than that, solid clip. Strong BTAS vibes and very little TNBA which is a good thing.
