Nickelodeon is bringing its signature brand of chaos, color and green goo back to San Diego Comic-Con. The kids’ entertainment giant will take over booth #4113 on the convention center floor with Nick’s Fun-Ergy Factory, an interactive fan experience built around some of the company’s most recognizable franchises, including
SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender and
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Outside the convention center, Nickelodeon will also stage a free public activation dubbed “Fun Flows Here” at The New Children’s Museum park, located at 200 W. Island Ave. The multi-day experience will run Thursday, July 23, through Sunday, July 26.
The company’s Comic-Con footprint underscores the continued strength of its nostalgia-heavy library and family-focused franchises, with activations designed for both longtime fans and younger attendees.
Inside the Convention Center at Nick’s Fun-Ergy Factory fans will be invited to generate “fun-ergy” through a series of interactive challenges that culminate in a nearly 20-foot-tall Slime Surge. “Enter the Splat” will offer a tactile, immersive environment where attendees can step into Nickelodeon’s splattered visual world and capture surprise photo and video moments. A
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sewer lair photo op will let guests pose alongside the heroes in a half shell. Retail offerings will include
TMNT x G.I. Joe collectible figures, a
BossLogic x Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game limited-edition character art print and the
Avatar: The Last Airbender — Book 3: Fire vinyl soundtrack album. The booth will also feature talent and character appearances, along with daily giveaways.
Outside the Convention Center, “Fun Flows Here” will include an interactive stage show hosted by Kids Imagine Nation, with performances, games and entertainment inspired by fan-favorite series including
Paw Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Thundermans and
Star Trek: Scouts. Attendees can also expect shareable photo installations tied to
SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender and the
Kids’ Choice Awards. A signature Nickelodeon slime booth will give select fans the chance to step inside and get drenched in the network’s iconic green goo.
On Friday, July 25, Nickelodeon will host a family movie night from 7-9 p.m. featuring a screening of
The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. Additional programming will include Nickelodeon Our World kids’ empowerment activities, make-your-own slime, bubble play, live animated character-drawing demos, DJ sets, prize raffles and giveaways.
