Bandai Namco is heading to San Diego Comic-Con with a major
Gundam reveal.
The company will debut a brand-new
Gundam anime series during its “GUNDAM Showcase 2026 – Unveil the Next Gundam” panel, set for Thursday, July 23, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in Room 6BCF at the San Diego Convention Center.
The panel will lay out what’s next for the long-running franchise, with Bandai Namco also mounting a dedicated Comic-Con booth spotlighting the upcoming anime,
Gundam Rogue Orbit — the video game title announced in June — and a free GUNPLA building workshop on the show floor.
Panel attendees will receive novelty bags while supplies last, including exclusive
Gundam swag such as a
Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway The Sorcery of Nymph Circe mini poster, T-shirt,
Gundam Rogue Orbit promotional card, inflatable Beam Saber, 1/144 RX-78-2 GUNDAM workshop kit, Gunpla shopping bag,
Gundam headband and
Gundam introduction booklet.
For fans not making the trip to San Diego, Bandai Namco will stream a special worldwide program featuring the same new-title information revealed at the Comic-Con panel. The announcement program is scheduled for July 23 at 11 a.m. PT on the
official Gundam YouTube channel.
