Do we want Danny McBride as Gorilla Grodd or Darkseid?
I'm glad Jimmy Olson is being featured as a journalist, instead of a plot-convenient "influencer" like the recent cartoon, or a CIA operative, like in Zack Snyder's love letter to the Military Industrial Complex.
He was in that movie? I didn't even notice and if I did I completely forgot, we really don't need something like this, I had hopes for the Gunn-verse at first, not so much with what I've currently seen, I really didn't care much for that Superman movie TBH, I didn't like the depiction of Supes.
I didn't like Jimmy in the movie, despite them playing him straight (but hapless) against the dopey comedy of Eve Tecsmacher, he came across as MORE disfunctional than her.He's..........a creep, in a very awkward way, and centering a TV series around that kind of character................I dunno. There's no charm to him, he's not likeable, at least not to me.But I don't think that is the point of a Jimmy Olsen TV series---they probably want to run this for all the really stupid, zany super-powerred mutations and transformations Jimmy underwent in the comics. That's probably going to be the main gimmick, but...........nah, I'm not gonna watch this.

Have you guys not followed modern DC media at all? This is what they do. They take minor characters, change them in weird ways, and make shows about them that exist on the periphery of their ever changing canon. This show was telegraphed in the movie by how many named Daily Planet characters they crammed in and hardly used. I guarantee Jimmy will bear no resemblance to a "classic" Jimmy and, if other shows are any indication, probably no resemblance to whatever he was like in the film either. That's DC folks. Let's hope it gets sold soon.

This seems like an odd choice but I'm weirdly on board with it. Not being familiar with much of DC, I'm just enjoying things for what they are when they make them
This is such good idea and also if this series introduce DarkSide like the comics but not show him make him like a conspiracy theory
