Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender will screen in theaters in exactly two cities—Los Angeles and New York—for a one-week awards-qualifying run from July 24 to 30. For everyone else, the movie will debut globally on Paramount+ on July 25.
Because the film was originally slated as a streaming exclusive, this extremely limited theatrical release was designed to strictly meet the Academy Awards' qualification guidelines.
