Lionsgate has released the official trailer for Beware Boiúna, an upcoming creature feature scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on October 2. Directed by Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn, Silent Night, Deadly Night), the film follows a group of young medical workers on a humanitarian mission deep within the Amazon rainforest. Their presence disturbs the Boiúna, a colossal, mythological, ancient snake known as the "mother of the waters" who awakens to defend and reclaim her territory.
