#SDCC2019 'The Walking Dead' Movie Teaser

by Outsiders
July 19, 2019

Universal is working with AMC and Skybound to distribute the untitled feature film starring Andrew Lincoln. The teaser includes the caption, “Rick Grimes Returns Only In Theaters”

We reported back in November 2018 that the Grimes movies are among the first projects in development from Gimple as part of a multi-year plan for The Walking Dead Universe, which also includes other projects currently in the works: additional films, specials, series, digital content and more. According to Gimple, some of the stories will relate to The Walking Dead as fans know it while others will be standalone stories that break into new creative territory.

So we are in full circle now.... comic influenced by zombie movies turns to zombie show now turns to zombie movie.. Is there really even that big of a fanbase anymore? This #$## has been played out so much even I, an avid zombie fan, have gotten tired of it.
