Well, it finally happened... A popular
toy brand, who wished to remain anonymous, had decided to
call it quits after reading a
mean comment during one of their livestreams. The brand had made a ton of effort to deliver quality product for years, but a nasty comment by a user called "
PurpleMonkeyDishwasher" ended up being the straw that broke the camel's back.

It was a
Wednesday morning, and the anonymous brand had a livestream where they reveal upcoming product. There was a lot of excitement in the
live chat, which is usually full of nice people complimenting the brand and giving friendly, constructive criticism, but after the reveal of an all-new action figure that fans had been waiting for, the unthinkable happened: A user called "
PurpleMonkeyDishwasher" left a
mean comment. The company decided to
halt production immediately and
closed down their headquarters.
We managed to track down
PurpleMonkeyDishwasher to ask what was the reason behind this comment that was totally uncalled for: "
It's very simple. That new figure had barely any re-use and used all-new sculpts. I couldn't believe it! It didn't even use the B**ky Cap body. I was furious! That's when I decided to let them know that I wouldn't buy it!".
We hope that
PurpleMonkeyDishwasher will find it in his heart to apologize and that the popular brand will change their mind and
reopen.
