BigBadToyStore is one of our favorite places to pick up toys. We, at
ToyFarce, have been using
BBTS for nearly 2 decades without a single issue, and from what we've been hearing, it seems to be the same for anyone ordering from them. Their
Pile of Loot system is one of the best things around to save on shipping (
especially for collectors outside of the US who unfortunately can't take advantage of the $4 flat rate shipping). But what if we told you that there is also a
curse lurking around? And you can perhaps use it for your advantage?
ToyFarce investigated...
After discussing with several fellow collectors, we noticed that something was off... We did notice that every time we ship our
Pile of Loot, a few items ended up arriving moments later, and just thought it was just
bad luck, or
bad timing. Then, it happened
again... And
again... And to other collectors too!
ToyFarce hired a
professional psychic medium to browse the website, and was instructed to add an item in their
Pile of Loot, pre-order an item that was supposed to come out soon, and ship the item from the
Pile of Loot. Sadly, the medium did not get the same result (
they pre-ordered a Mezco item...), and could not confirm if there was a
curse involved.
"
How to use the curse to our advantage?", you might ask. Well, it's actually pretty easy. Anytime there is an item that you are really excited for and can't wait to get your hands on, just
ship your Pile of Loot! The coveted item should arrive soon after that! (

Like someone commented beforehand you should ship out your pile of loot on a weekend to keep from missing out on a new item added to your loot?

This has actually never happened to me.
Yes. Usually within hours. I try to ship it on Saturdays or Sundays to give myself at least 24-48 hours before having something else drop
Yep, has happened to me a few times.
Without Fail. Usually before the pile actually ships.
