In what he describes as a "very reasonable and financially responsible goal", local toy collector Adam has announced his New Year's resolution for 2026: bringing home six figures every month. ToyFarce investigated...

"No, not that kind of six figures..." Adam clarified quickly. "I mean action figures. Toys. Little plastic people. Which is way more achievable, if you really think about it..." According to Adam, while the idea of earning a six-figure salary may feel unrealistic in today's economy, acquiring six action figures per month is "pretty much entry-level collecting".

"Some people aim high and say they want to save money, go to the gym, or finally get a raise..." he explained. "I looked at my pre-orders and realized I already accidentally completed my resolution through at least September."

Collectors online were quick to point out that the resolution sounds modest, until you factor in imports, exclusives, and surprise 'must-have' reveals: "Six figures a month is nothing" one collector commented. "I would have to slow down a lot for that... That's basically a Marvel Legends wave, or two imports, two deluxe figure, one convention exclusive you panic-bought, and one 'I'll cancel this later' pre-order that ships before you remember to cancel it..."

Financial experts (and spouses) remain unconvinced, noting that six figures per month can easily turn into twelve once sales, reissues, anniversary lines, and YouTube reviewers start using phrases like "sleeper hit" and "definitive version".

Adam insists he has a strict system in place to keep things under control: "If I bring home more than six figures, they don't count if I don't open them" he said. (Loopholes... always loopholes...)

At press time, Adam was reportedly celebrating successfully achieving his January goal on January 3rd, while confidently stating that next year's resolution might be to "only buy what he really loves", a goal experts describe as "even more fictional than a six-figure salary".
