Fans were surprised when both Mattel and Mondo unveiled their own version of King Grayskull within hours of each other, prompting immediate confusion and concern for the mighty monarch's time management. Mattel released their Masters of the Universe Chronicles King Grayskull up for Club Grayskull members on their Mattel Creations website, while Mondo released a teaser for an upcoming 1/6th scale figure.



"I swear I confirmed Mattel for that day... and somehow, Mondo too?" said Grayskull's visibly stressed agent, flipping through a stone tablet calendar. "There was supposed to be a gap between appearances..."

Eyewitnesses claim King Grayskull decided to honor both commitments, appearing regal and composed in both reveals despite what sources describe as "clearly panicked teleportation": "At one point, you could tell he forgot which version of himself he was supposed to be..." said one collector.
