"It's like all fandoms are jumping me at once!!" - Local toy collector Nick reportedly entered "full financial panic mode" this week after realizing that the upcoming Masters of the Universe, Mandalorian & Grogu, Supergirl and Spider-man: Brand New Day movies would all inevitably lead to massive toy lines he absolutely cannot resist buying. ToyFarce investigated...

"I was already mentally preparing for movie Masters of the Universe figures..." said Nick while reorganizing shelves to create "emotionally optimistic empty space". "Then I remembered there's going to be new Mandalorian stuff... and Supergirl merch... then Spider-man: Brand New Day all in the same period. I genuinely think the toy companies are trying to kill me."

"It's like Mattel, Hasbro and McFarlane Toys all planned to destroy my wallet at the same time!"

According to sources close to the collector, Nick spent the last few weeks confidently telling himself he would "be more selective this year", moments before pre-ordering several unrelated figures "just to save on shipping". (Thank goodness for BBTS's Pile of Loot!)

Industry experts confirm the situation looks dire: "Movie toy lines are dangerous because they activate multiple forms of collector brain simultaneously" explained a toy analyst. "You've got the 'this might sell out' panic, the 'I loved this as a kid' nostalgia, and the classic 'I'll just get the main characters' lie collectors tell themselves before accidentally owning 38 figures..."

Friends say Nick's condition worsened after imagining the inevitable convention exclusives and deluxe versions: "You KNOW they're going to do battle-damaged versions of all of them..." he muttered while staring blankly at his bank account. "And there's no way Hasbro only makes one Grogu. There'll be regular Grogu, pram Grogu, hungry Grogu, summertime Grogu, slightly different facial expression Grogu... and then there's the Anzellans... you'll need 4 of those... Then there's gonna be several Krypto toys..."

At press time, Nick was reportedly trying to convince himself that he could skip at least one line before quietly whispering, "Maybe I don't need to pay rent this month..."
