ToyFarce News: Legendary Blurry Leak Photographer Shares Tips For The Perfect 'Leaked' Action Figure Shot

Following the appearance of several suspiciously blurry alleged Marvel Legends leaks from Avengers: Doomsday, the legendary photographer behind decades of blurry toy leaks has emerged from retirement to teach aspiring leak photographers the importance of preserving traditional techniques. "Kids have it easy these days..." said renowned leak photographer "John Blurry" (a fake name to hide his identity, because, you know, the leaks...) while aggressively smearing butter onto a smartphone lens. "Nowadays, you can just type 'blurry Marvel Legends leak photo' into some AI image generator and boom, you've got thousands of likes. Back in my day, we at least had standards..."

"John Blurry", whose previous work included blurry images of upcoming action figures taken through car windows, inside dark closets, and from distances of over 200 feet, explained that authentic leak photography requires dedication:

"First, you must never focus on the subject" he instructed during his masterclass. "If people can identify the figure immediately, you've partially failed. Second, you need to temper with your lens a little. I like to add any kind of grease on it, to make sure the picture won't be sharp. I personally prefer margarine or bacon grease, which smells great. Third, make sure your hand is shaking. I usually drink three energy drinks beforehand. Or you can just start running as you take the picture, it works too. And finally, crop the photo in a way that removes all context. The audience should spend days debating whether they're looking at an action figure, a coffee mug, or a baked potato, and they'll eventually make up the headlines themselves."

We had previously sat down with the veteran photographer for the release of his first book.

He also expressed concern about the rise of AI-generated leaks: "Artificial intelligence can recreate the blur, sure..." he admitted. "But can it replicate the panic of hearing footsteps as you're taking a picture in the factory bathroom? Can it capture the human spirit of accidentally covering half the lens with your thumb? I don't think so..."

Collectors across social media immediately praised the leaked images for their authenticity: "These have to be real" wrote one user. "No one would intentionally take photos this bad!". Several others even commented "This one is real, I have seen it elsewhere before", as if a leaked picture had already been pre-leaked just for them.

"AI or not, the important thing is maintaining the traditions of leak photography" he said before demonstrating his signature technique of taking a photo while simultaneously dropping his phone onto the floor. "A proper leaked image should answer one question and create fifty more."

At press time, collectors had already begun analyzing individual pixels from the photographs, concluding with absolute certainty that the figures were either fake, real, placeholders, customs, AI-generated, prototypes, final production samples, or all of the above.
