ToyFarce News: Thousands of Marvel Legends Collectors Simultaneously Have The Same "Unique" Idea to Recreate Avengers: Doomsday Concept Art with Figures!

This weekend, the release of Marvel Studios' official concept art for Avengers: Doomsday has inspired thousands of collectors around the world to dust off their Marvel Legends shelves and recreate the epic group shot... with many convinced they are the only person brilliant enough to think of it. ToyFarce investigated...

"I haven't seen anyone mention this yet..." said 39-year-old Marvel Legends collector Brian, while carefully moving his Marvel Legends Series Doctor Doom Premium Roleplay Helmet two millimeters to the left for maximum screen accuracy. "What if... and hear me out... I recreated the poster using my figures? I think it could go viral!"



According to sources, Brian has already spent three hours comparing the official artwork to his display, rotating every figure's torso by a few degrees before realizing he doesn't have updated versions for more than half of those characters, with some being only available in comics or animated series versions: "We're gonna need a MCU Cyclops, Beast and Gambit stat! Updated MCU versions of Shang Chi, most of the Thunderbolts, especially Ghost... Also need a lab coat for Reed Richards and a black shirt civilian body for Steve Rogers. I'll use a Punisher buck for now..."


Within minutes of the official Avengers: Doomsday artwork being released, social media had already filled with hundreds of nearly identical recreations, each captioned with phrases such as "Had to do it!", "Could not resist!", or "I did a thing!", all accompanied by the exact same pose from slightly different camera angles. At press time, Brian was putting the finishing touches on his masterpiece before posting it with the caption: "Am I the first one to do this?".
