ToyFarce News: Super7 Makes History With Battle Beast Bloody Repaint, Setting New World Record for Fastest Repaint of a Convention Exclusive Ever?!

Super7 has apparently decided that the word "exclusive" is more what you'd call a guideline than an actual rule (like parlay, arrr!), as the company has released a new bloody repaint of its Invincible Battle Beast figure. The original figure was originally released as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive 3 weeks ago, meaning collectors who picked it up at the convention can now enjoy the unique experience of watching their exclusive become slighlty less exclusive almost immediately, as the bloody repaint is now in available at Gamestop. The new version features Battle Beast covered in green blood (the Blood of Emsiu), presumably after having another perfectly reasonable afternoon of hacking, slicing and biting his way through an army of enemies (it's either that or an afternoon tea party gone wrong). Aside from the additional blood and less accessories (only one broken sword with this one, as it is a Deluxe and not an Ultimate!), it is essentially the same figure, giving collectors a compelling reason to purchase the exact same Battle Beast for a second time: this one has been through a slightly more eventful day.

Collectors were quick to point out that this may be the fastest repaint of a convention exclusive in toy history. Usually, companies wait at least a few months before repainting a recent figure,even more so for a convention exclusive one, giving the original version enough time to establish itself as rare and desirable. Super7, however, apparently decided that was far too much waiting.

"We wanted to give collectors who bought the SDCC exclusive something special..." said a representative from Super7. "So we made another one immediately, but with blood." Images had already surfaced on the internet days before San Diego Comic Con, but no one imagined that it would come out mere weeks after the convention ended.



The announcement has left the SDCC 2026 Exclusive Invincible Battle Beast owners wondering whether they should feel lucky to own the exclusive version, or whether they simply paid extra to beta-test the first paint job. Either way, congratulations to Super7 for achieving a new speedrun record in the category of "Fastest Repaint of a Convention Exclusive".
