Grendel 1/12 Scale Action Figure
A name that strikes fear into hearts on both sides of the law. A lethal assassin turned criminal overlord, Grendel rules the underworld of New York and, eventually, the American east coast with a strict code of conduct and merciless judgments. By day, Hunter Rose is a dashing and world-renowned author but in his alter-ego as the masked and mysterious Grendel, he leads a double life of intrigue and adventure. His iconic mask and deadly twin-bladed fork are the symbols of his deadly dominion.

Matt Wagner’s award-winning creation is an original powerhouse of the indy comics scene and has set the standard in ground-breaking narrative drama for over four decades. Over the years, a veritable who’s who of comic-book superstars have contributed to GRENDEL’s dark legacy, including—Tim Sale, Frank Miller, Paul Pope, Mike Allred, David Mack, Jill Thompson, Derrick Robertson, Darwyn Cooke and Kelley Jones, to name just a few.

American Flagg 1/12 Scale Action Figure
From Executive Replica comes a figure of Reuben Flagg, AKA American Flagg, the comic book character created by Howard Chaykin. The figure features 33 points of articulation, Raul the cat with a pistol, and other accessories.

Reuben Flagg, AKA American Flagg, was born in 2000 at Hammarskjold Center, Mars. He was a stand-up comic and popular television star of the show Mark Thrust, Sexus Ranger. After he was made obsolete by CGI technology, he joined the Plexus Rangers and emigrated to Earth, being stationed in the Chicago Plexmall. Flagg is Jewish, and his parents' "undesirably bohemian" attitudes have given him an idealistic view of the United States that runs contrary to the Plex. He has a desire to set things right again, and through inheriting Q-USA, begins to set on that path.

Howard Chaykin is an acclaimed comic book writer and artist with credits such as American Flagg!, Star Wars, and Hey, Kids, Comics! He has worked extensively at Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and Image comics from the early 1970s through the present day. American Flagg is an American comic book series created and owned by writer-artist Howard Chaykin.

The Rocketman 1/12 Scale Action Figure
Republic Pictures’ iconic flying suit first appeared in 1949’s 12 chapter serial, “King of the Rocketmen”, featuring Tris Coffin as two fisted rocket propulsion expert Jeff King. In 1952, the rocket powered avenger soared into action in two subsequent serials; “Radar Men From The Moon”, with George Wallace as Commando Cody and later that year featuring Judd Holdren as Larry Martin in, “Zombies of the Stratosphere”. Holdren also appeared as the now masked hero in a twelve episode theatrical/television release entitled, “Commando Cody Sky Marshal of the Universe”. Finally, in 2004, amateur filmmaker Gary Hughes produced an homage to the flying suit serial characters in, “Thirty Second Doom”.

Are these based on a 60s show? They give me that vibe...

Awesome looking figures of characters I dont have any interest in owning figures of lol. However, if it was Grendel-Prime instead, I'd be buying my first ever Loose Collector figure.

LC is super talented and makes amazing prototypes but the actual figures that get produced now thats another story, theres been some improvements recently with red Sonja and hellwitch but they are still far cry from his masterful prototypes which really work more as false advertising.

Factories they use just arent good at making faces, so its safe bet to assume that actual figures will be downgraded, yet Grendel is too simple of a design to mess up so I have high hopes he comes out good but price point is indeed not worth it unless you really really want that character in figure form.

I love what Loose Collector is doing, but not enough to pay their asking prices. They're always about 3x what I'd realistically be willing to pay.

So true. They look great and I have no doubt they're top notch. BUT they're simply not worth that price. Hopefully LC will offer these again sometime at a more reasonable cost. If not, I've learned the value of just walking away. No hate, just save my $$

Oh man Grendel, love me some Grendel, that's a nice figure, I been burnt though with Loosecollector, yes they make great looking figures, but the price is too high..and having to pay almost 200+ for 1 figure is insane for me, and I did it, I had to have LD, Purgatori, Red Sonja and Vampirella, as much as I love them, Also was a bit of regret, for what they are they are not worth the price, and on top of paying the prices for these figures I got smacked at customs..really an expensive event.
