Skin tone plastic on Boss Fight Red Sonja was rather bad, it was way too pale and unnatural, same with LC version but it was unnatural tan color. Now if they had something akin to Power Princess skin tone wise it would look way better, but yeah it very hard to say which Red Sonja is the best, the both have their pros and cons and neither one is a truly good figure.

I like Boss Fight but I got that Red Sonja from Amazon and hated it so much I returned it LOL.
I wish they would redo the elbow joints, when they re issue older figures with single jointed elbows.

Any comparison with the boss fight studio version?

I really wish they'd reissue Trese, I still shed a tear I missed her.
Is the boss fight one better do you think?

Fair enough. As a Marvel Legends collector, I like that approach just fine? She could have used some more paint to make her more distinctive and look better, but the base body functions well so I'm okay with Boss Fight's approach. Each to their own!

I have Lady Death already and she's good but Boss Fight's Red Sonja is the superior *toy* IMO. I can see the reasoning for the 'LooseCollector looks better', but that's just a question of paint ops to me on Sonja.

I mean in a perfect world I'd have every one of these figures from Loosecollector, but they are way too expensive for what you actually get, I have a lot of them and they are beautiful, but I can't say they seem worth more then a Legends figure, the plastic is even more brittle and they just are not actually doing the lifting the price commands. Heck even these 5'' figures are 50 bucks that's 10 bucks an inch
Yeah prices are pretty insane and quality is indeed lower than legends, but it's character selection and scale that got me hooked, I even replaced head with ML Phoenix one on the Taarna, because she's too iconic to me not to have in my collection, same with Lady Death, Vampirella and Red Sonja, although we did get new versions of last two from other companies, Boss fight for Sonja and Icon collectibles' Vampirella, although to be fair both of these figures also have their own issues.

While Red Sonja wasn't a bad figure and far from the borderline disaster of the Taarna release from Heavy Metal, she could still be improved, especially considering how much better the most recent figures from LC have turned out.
