That's a good move. A super limited exclusive being just the packaging is a much easier pill to swallow, so that's a good move, especially when it comes to a franchise that very famously undermined their own success with limited edition figures. Glad he got out in front of it all.

I'm picking it it's just Kirk as a Romulan, so I'm not too worried for my personal collection, but I didn't pick Nacelle to go 1701 Collection so early in the line...
It's pretty much impossible to guess what Nacelle is going to do.

Bathing Suit Quark should have been the Cruise exclusive?

I have more faith in Nacelle than pretty much any other company for this sort of long-term planning - really hope they live up to that faith! I need a Bajoran militia Kira and a Quark for my DS9 crew...

I am rooting for them. I desperately want Seven of Nine in a normal outfit and Dax in a non-movie uniform. I'm not confident I will get them from Nacelle, but I'm at least a little hopeful. I ordered T'Pol and Captain Jellicoe just in case this line works out.

Large, yes, popular... maybe not so much, especially in the action figure arena since no one has had a terribly successful Trek line since Playmates back in the 90's, so it may not have been *so* expensive - still a decent chunk, I'm sure, but it's not like it's a 'sure fire' license like Batman.
