Joy Toy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Van Review and Images

This week, we're having a look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Van from Joy Toy. The Joy Toy TMNT line has been nothing short of awesome, so there was no doubt that their first vehicle for that line would be great. Well, it exceeded my expectations. It is one of the funnest Turtle Van/Party Wagon out there, with tons of features and cool display options. Cowabunga!






The Turtle Van comes with a ton of accessories, including fire and laser effects for the guns, smoke effect for the exhaust pipes, a seat or a turret that can be attached inside the van, a grappling hook gun or a platform to attach on said turret, hooks with wired lines for the grappling hook gun, a tool box or a spare tire that can be attached on the back doors, 2 extinguishers (safety first!), tools to put in the tool box, a set of 3 traffic cones and a stop sign, in case of accidents. Oh, and a slice of pizza that can be hidden in the logo in the front. Of course.












The Joy Toy Turtle Van also has working lights, and a ton of display/play possibilities. The front doors open, and the roof can be removed to place figures nicely in the front seat. The doors open on both sides and on the back of the van. One of the door can be used as a ramp, while the other has a seat with a laser gun attached on the inside. The roof also opens, so you can place your figures inside more easily, or play with the turret. The details inside (and outside!) of the van are amazing. The van even has a bit of suspension in the wheels going on, when you push it down, it bounces back up. Joy Toy did a fantastic job with that vehicle. Sure, the inside is slightly too small and the turtles can't really stand up completely in it, but with the roof and doors opening, you can still manage to pose them inside. I had the original Playmates one as a kid, and this is all I dreamt that it would do. This is by far, one of the best Turtle Vans, with tons of options and cool features. Plus it's a smaller scale, so it doesn't take as much space as the Super7 or NECA ones on a shelf!
