The Beastbox one looks like a facehugger got a hold of a large BBTS package. I actually think it's more effective as a cube with that head coming out of nowhere like it was hitching a ride on an escape shuttle. For the record, most Beastbox figures are blindingly easy. This is probably one of their most complicated yet because of all the spindly appendages.
The Figlite looks very respectable and I like the styling that went in to making it. Smallish, though you could say it was in-between molts or something. Shame about the limited head movement, but that wouldn't be a huge drawback for me. Nice review TF!

So, the FigLite figure is a pretty decent one tbh, I can see this working with so many other lines. The BeastBox stuff is interesting. I have a soft spot for the older creations because of the compatibility to the Diaclone toys, but this looks to be a different animal. At least we have a clearer view now. Thanks again.
Thank YOU for always checking the reviews and articles? It means a lot to me!

When this was initially announced I was stoked to see a 1/12 scale option since the Neca ones tend to better suit 7in scale, but the price was what deterred me. Alien is arguably my favorite franchise of all time, so I always have more room for another xenomorph, but you could almost get 2 Neca ones for the price of this one alone, so I am kind of torn.
I have never owned a beastbox figure but have been tempted in the past by some of the dog robot ones, but if this one is as difficult to transform as you say, then I am going to pass. Complicated transforming toys tend to be more of a burden then actually enjoyable imo.
It's a beautiful figure, and as a one-off/different take on the xenomorph by an artist, I'd say it's worth it. The NECA ones are also very good though, so it's all a matter of if you like it enough or not. It's a lot smaller also. I can take a picture next to other lines if you want to compare the size.
For the BeastBOX, it seems to be that this one in particular is a tough one, so it might be that the other ones are easier and more fun. I totally agree with the complicated transformations, it just takes all the fun out of it. I stayed away from a lot of third party robots for that.
